Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Technical Systems Analyst to design, develop, enhance, and implement software solutions within the Center of Excellence for enterprise MES. The role supports troubleshooting, ERP integration, and end‑user support for MES systems used worldwide.

The ideal candidate will bring strong JAVA, SQL, and DevOps experience, with a track record in data analytics and system integration. This position is remote within the United States and requires US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Understanding/interpreting JAVA programming language.
• Experience with SQL products.
• Experience with GitHub and JIRA DevOps management.
• Experience with data analytics and system integration.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Bridge gaps between business processes and MES functionality & capabilities.
• Translate customer requirements into solution designs.
• Provide technical problem solving and specification authoring.
• Engage with DevOps solution management and task management with strong follow‑up discipline.
• Meet all budget, deliverable, and schedule targets.
• Provide production and end‑user support for MES solutions.
• Support integration with other enterprise solutions.
• Collaborate with internal customers, external suppliers, and business partners to architect and build system solutions using the latest technologies.
• Manage suppliers and partners to schedule and status resources required for solution development and implementation.
• Work simultaneously on multiple projects with regular reporting in a gated process.
• Author and/or provide input to system functional requirements, technical design documentation, and test plans.
• Work with business teams to plan and implement projects/enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with RTX / PW policies & procedures.
