Job summary

North Point Technology seeks a MES Business Analyst to develop, evaluate, and enhance Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). You will lead MES design, gather requirements, and drive technical implementations across projects to improve information management and analytics usage.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years IT experience, 4+ years MES experience, and ability to travel up to 50% (domestic and international).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technology or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of IT experience.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in industrial software services functions.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience designing or implementing MES applications (Manufacturing Execution Systems).
• Experience with MES traceability and quality applications.
• Willing to travel up to 50%, locally and internationally.
• Fluent English (reading, writing and speaking).

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and lead the implementation of MES.
• Engage relevant IT personnel to assist in MES issues resolution.
• Perform requirements gathering and gap analysis against user needs.
• Support MES solution architectures and develop detailed design specifications.
• Define functional requirements via client interviews and process mapping.
• Estimate technical effort for MES solutions.
• Responsible for technical deliverables during MES projects lifecycle.
• Collaborate with technical project team to build relationships.
• Proactively engage with customers to define MES technical approaches.
• Maintain personal technical skills through continuous education.
• Report project progress against schedule and manage scope changes.
• Participate in planning sessions and future MES opportunities.
