Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a results-driven Merchant Services Sales Consultant to expand client relationships in the small business space across annual sales of $0-$3 million. You will prospect, present payment solutions, and coach branch staff to drive referrals while coordinating with branches to win new merchant accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 2+ years of proven sales/inside sales experience in financial services and the ability to close deals and achieve targets.

Responsibilities

• Actively prospect and build relationships with new clients, converting leads into partnerships.
• Sell a range of solutions (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, check processing, gift cards, ACH) and navigate hardware and software needs.
• Build pipeline, convert leads, close deals, and exceed daily/weekly targets.
• Collaborate with bank units to identify cross-selling opportunities and maximize client profitability.
• Resolve client concerns and build long-lasting relationships based on expertise and service.
• Teach, coach, and motivate merchant education and sales growth within branch coverage area.
• Accurately report all leads, opportunities, and status updates in CRM dashboards.
• Leverage partners to learn products and services for cross-sales opportunities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
