Job summary

Community First Credit Union | Wisconsin is seeking a Member Solutions Manager to lead the collections function, safeguard assets, and deliver fair, respectful service to members facing financial difficulty. You will coach the Member Solutions Specialists and oversee resolution of seriously delinquent accounts, from payment plans to potential legal actions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in collections or related financial services fields.
• Previous supervisory or management experience leading teams.
• Experience with complex collections including bankruptcy, repossession, foreclosure, or litigation.
• Credit union or community banking experience preferred.
• Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent negotiation, listening, verbal and written communication.
• Ability to communicate professionally with attorneys, courts, vendors and third parties.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Member Solutions Specialist team to meet goals while maintaining member-focused service.
• Monitor collection trends and performance; prepare reports for VP of Member Solutions.
• Oversee delinquent accounts, including payment arrangements and workouts, and determine next steps.
• Serve as escalation point for complex, high-risk collection situations.
• Oversee repossession and OREO activity from authorization to disposition.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and debt collection laws.
• Partner with third-party providers, debt management programs, and legal resources.
