Job summary

CFCU Community Credit Union is seeking a Member Solutions Manager to lead the collections function, protect assets, and deliver fair, respectful service to members in financial difficulty.

You will provide leadership to the Member Solutions Specialists, oversee seriously delinquent accounts, and coordinate with VP of Member Solutions and partner teams to ensure regulatory compliance and effective debt resolution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, paralegal studies, or related field is preferred.
• Five+ years of progressive collections, lending, credit administration, or related financial services experience.
• Prior supervisory or management experience is required.
• Experience with bankruptcy, repossession, foreclosure, litigation, or troubled real estate is preferred.
• Experience in a credit union or community banking environment is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Member Solutions Specialist team to meet departmental goals.
• Monitor collection trends and report risks and results to leadership.
• Oversee delinquent accounts, workouts, and next steps including legal actions or charge-offs.
• Serves as escalation point for complex or high-risk collection situations.
• Oversee repossession and OREO activity from authorization to disposition.
• Ensure compliance with FDCPA, FCRA, and related laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with debt management programs, third parties, and legal resources.
