Job summary

Community First Credit Union seeks a Member Solutions Manager to lead the collections function, protect assets, and provide fair member service during financial difficulty.

You will coach the Member Solutions Specialists, oversee seriously delinquent accounts, and coordinate with the VP of Member Solutions to ensure compliance with federal and Wisconsin laws while managing third-party providers.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in collections or lending.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Financial analysis and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Collections/Member Solutions Specialist team to meet goals.
• Monitor collection performance, trends, and report to VP.
• Oversee delinquent consumer loans, mortgages, credit cards, and other at-risk accounts.
• Determine steps including payment arrangements, workouts, or legal actions.
• Serve as escalation point for complex or high-risk collection issues.
• Oversee repossession and OREO activity from authorization to disposition.
• Ensure compliance with FDCPA, FCRA, and related regulations.
• Partner with debt management programs, vendors, and legal resources.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Bachelor's degree preferred
