Job summary

Credit Union of Colorado is seeking a Member Advocate to deliver exceptional member service across remote channels. You will use broad product knowledge to recommend solutions, educate members on options, and ensure a high-quality member experience aligned with our core values.

The role emphasizes empathy, effective communication, and the ability to troubleshoot digital banking and payments while collaborating with branches and other departments to meet service metrics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year or more of customer service in a contact center preferred.
• Six months in a financial retail environment is a plus.
• Strong analytical, accuracy and problem-solving skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication; bilingual in Spanish desired.

Responsibilities

• Listen actively and empathize to uncover member needs and educate on options.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and confidence over the phone to uphold a helpful culture.
• Troubleshoot remote services including digital banking and bill pay.
• Research and respond to member inquiries using available resources.
• Collaborate with branches and departments to resolve issues and meet goals.
• Maintain knowledge of credit union programs to ensure accurate service.
