Duke Health is seeking a Medical Records Coder II to code based on ICD-10-CM and CPT conventions within a fully remote role. You will coordinate staff, ensure quality audits, and support continuing education in coding practices across the Duke Health system.

Key responsibilities include accurate coding of diagnoses/procedures, DRG/APC assignment, and collaboration with clinicians to improve documentation. Remote work requires staying current with JCAHO/HCFA guidelines and continuing education.

Competenze

• Advanced ICD-10-CM & CPT-4 coding conventions.
• Anatomy, Physiology and Medical Terminology.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
