The American Red Cross is seeking a TCS Medical Officer to lead medical office engagement for Therapeutic Apheresis and Cellular Therapeutics programs. You will provide expert clinical oversight, collaborate with TCS leadership, and ensure regulatory compliance across cellular therapies and transfusion medicine.

You will serve as the program's medical liaison, drive policy development, and expand specialized cellular products.

Qualificações

• MD/DO with Board Certification in Transfusion Medicine or Hematology/Oncology.
• Fellowship training in cellular therapies is preferred but negotiable.
• Leadership experience in program development and regulatory accreditation.

Responsabilidades

• Direct medical strategy and operations for regulated cellular therapies (HPCs, CAR-T, Leukopaks).
• Expand collection footprints and optimize production of cellular products.
• Lead medical liaison with biotech partners and committees; ensure donor eligibility and product specs.
• Oversee transfusion medicine, blood banking, donor management and product investigations.
• Provide medical oversight for transfer of protocols from research to clinical-grade production.
