BCA Financial Services, Inc. is hiring a Remote Insurance Claim Collector to support creditor clients by resolving claim denials and non-payments. You will analyze accounts, gather documentation, and follow up until payment is received while keeping thorough records.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in healthcare revenue cycle, strong knowledge of medical billing, and excellent communication skills. This is a full-time remote role with set weekday hours.

Competenze

• 2+ years in healthcare revenue cycle focusing on billing and collections.
• Advanced knowledge of the healthcare insurance environment including managed care, governmental and commercial carriers.
• Understanding of coding requirements and ability to request amendments to creditor clients.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic anatomy.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Mansioni

• Receive inbound and make outbound calls regarding insurance matters and document attempts on the collection system.
• Research and analyze accounts by gathering records and examining data to resolve payment obstacles.
• Verify insurance benefits using various sources to ensure correct processing.
• Maintain productivity standards and update accounts with current information.
• Contact managed care, governmental and commercial insurers to affect payment on claims.
• Identify payor trends in payment delays and escalate issues as needed.
• Respond to consumer inquiries promptly and resolve issues while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
