Qualifications

• 5 years of medical coding experience including physician revenue cycle.
• Expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS guidelines.
• Certified in coding with AHIMA or AAPC certifications listed in the posting.
• Ability to plan, coordinate and deliver coding education to coders and clinicians.
• Strong oral and written communication and classroom delivering skills.

Responsibilities

• Presents coding education for initial training and continuing education.
• Develops coding educational presentations, tools and documents.
• Identifies educational needs and coordinates sessions with leadership.
• Schedules and delivers education using in-person, virtual, or desk-side formats.
• Creates and maintains web-based coding education programs and tracking.
