Responsibilities

• Assign ICD-10-CM diagnoses, CPT codes with modifiers and related codes.
• Analyze information for proper reimbursement and denial resolution.
• Inform physicians and staff about current coding changes and regulations.
• Review and abstract provider documentation for diagnoses, procedures, tests, medications and services.
• Manage high volumes of coding within departmental standards.
• Maintain professional certification and participate in continuing education.
