Job summary

BCA Financial Services, Inc. is hiring a remote Insurance Claim Collector with a minimum of two years in medical insurance billing and claims follow-up.

The role focuses on determining denials, preparing required documentation, and following up until payment, while maintaining records per policy and HIPAA requirements. The position offers a standard Monday–Friday schedule with medical/dental/vision, 401k, PTO, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Healthcare revenue cycle experience is required (minimum 2 years).
• Advanced knowledge of the healthcare insurance environment (managed care, gov't and commercial carriers).
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound and make outbound calls regarding insurance matters and document attempts in the collection system.
• Research and analyze accounts to resolve barriers to payment using data and experience.
• Verify insurance benefits through multiple mediums including websites and outbound calls.
• Follow productivity standards and ensure timely follow-up and current account information.
• Contact insurers to affect payment on claims and escalate payor issues as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and adhere to regulatory requirements.
