Five Star Solutions is seeking a Medical Billing Customer Service Representative to assist patients with billing questions in a remote role. Candidates must reside in the United States and work a 9:00am–6:00pm EST schedule, Monday through Friday.

The role emphasizes professional, patient-focused service and accurate record-keeping. You will handle inbound calls about statements, payments, and charges, process credit card payments, document interactions, and escalate disputes when needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year of call center or customer service/office experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
• Ability to multitask and process information efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls regarding patient statements, insurance payments, and account balances.
• Provide accurate information about patient accounts, billing history, and charges.
• Process credit card payments over the phone.
• Document call details, account inquiries, and actions taken.
• Escalate complex billing disputes and concerns to the appropriate department.
• Deliver friendly, professional service while handling sensitive billing questions.
