Job summary

Lenze is looking for a Market Development Sales Engineer – MHL to expand our presence in the Material Handling & Logistics market across Atlanta/Nashville/Charlotte. You will hunt new logos, build a robust pipeline, and articulate technical value with engineering teams.

Responsibilities include targeting high-value prospects in warehousing, distribution, and automation; qualifying opportunities; leading discovery calls; delivering product demos; and partnering with channel teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Automation, Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 5+ years in technical sales or sales engineering in industrial automation or related markets.
• Proven hunter who exceeds revenue targets and builds a strong sales pipeline.
• Strong knowledge of Material Handling & Logistics and related markets.
• Ability to manage sales cycles with minimal guidance and build trusted relationships.

Responsibilities

• Target and develop high-value prospects in MHL markets to win new customers.
• Qualify opportunities and secure initial meetings.
• Lead discovery conversations to understand applications and buying processes.
• Support technical presentations and product demos with internal teams.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline, moving opportunities to close.
• Track CRM activity and forecast sales progress.
• Collaborate with channel partners to expand market reach.
• Travel up to 40% within the territory.
