Lenze Americas Corporation is seeking a Market Development Sales Engineer for the Material Handling & Logistics (MHL) sector. This remote role covers Atlanta, GA, Nashville, TN, and Charlotte, SC, focusing on hunting for new logos, expanding market share, and building a robust pipeline with engineering and sales collaboration.

The ideal candidate has a track record in technical sales within industrial automation, excellent relational and presentation skills, and the ability to travel up to 40%

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Automation, Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent).
• 5+ years in technical sales, sales engineering, or business development in industrial automation or related markets.
• Proven hunter mentality with a track record of new customer acquisition and revenue growth.
• Strong understanding of Material Handling & Logistics (MHL) including conveyors and warehousing.

Mansioni

• Target and develop high-value prospects in strategic MHL markets to win new customers and grow market share.
• Prospect, qualify opportunities, and secure initial meetings with potential customers.
• Lead discovery conversations to understand applications, needs, and buying processes.
• Support technical presentations and product demonstrations with internal teams.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline and advance opportunities through the sales funnel to close.
• Accurately track customer activity, pipeline, and next steps in CRM.
• Collaborate with channel managers and distribution to expand market reach.
• Provide accurate forecasts and contribute to territory growth.
• Travel up to 40% within the territory for visits, trade shows, and training.
