Job summary

Nextpower Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer – Module Frames for a remote role with extensive travel. You will drive concurrent engineering, supplier readiness, and industrialization of steel module frames across a global supply base.

The role partners with R&D, Quality, and Procurement to ensure manufacturability, scalability and cost effectiveness. You will lead design for manufacturability, support factory validation, and implement engineering changes through PLM processes while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 10+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering/industrialization for complex roll-formed steel components and assemblies.
• Experience with DFM/DFMA influence on design releases and factory validation.
• Strong knowledge of lean/six sigma and problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5-Why, Pareto).

Responsibilities

• Support launch, commissioning and ramp-up of new equipment at supplier sites (domestic and international).
• Lead product development from concept through design release with manufacturing feasibility input.
• Identify manufacturability risks and propose engineering solutions to improve cost and reliability.
• Drive innovation in manufacturing technologies and validation activities for steel roll forming and related processes.
