As a Manufacturing Engineer – Module Frames you will drive DFM/DFMA, supplier readiness, and industrialization of steel components across Nextpower’s global supplier base.

You will collaborate with R&D/Design Engineering, Quality, Program Management, or Procurement to ensure new and existing designs are manufacturable, scalable, cost-effective, and reliable, and

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering with 10+ years in manufacturing engineering for roll-formed steel components.
• Experience with concurrent engineering, DFM/DFMA, and supplier readiness is essential.
• Proven ability to lead supplier-facing engineering activities and manage changes in PLM.

Responsibilities

• Support launch and ramp-up of new equipment at supplier sites domestically or internationally.
• Provide manufacturing feasibility input and DFM/DFMA recommendations with suppliers.
• Review drawings and identify manufacturability risks, propose solutions.
• Lead manufacturing tech across supplier footprint including automation and inspection.
• Plan prototypes, supplier trials, and on-site validations with measurement methods.
• Drive cost-reduction via value engineering and document savings across regions.
• Define readiness deliverables and validation checklists.
• Conduct supplier factory readiness audits and drive corrective actions.
