Job summary

Novonesis is seeking a Manager of Technical Service, Ruminant Animal Health, to lead the North American Ruminant Technical Service team and deliver expert technical support across probiotic, enzyme, feed additive, and silage solutions. You will translate science into measurable value for customers and work across Commercial, Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, and Innovation to drive growth.

The role requires a PhD, DVM, or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years in animal nutrition/health, plus at least 5

Qualifications

• PhD, DVM, or equivalent advanced degree in Animal Science, Dairy Science, Ruminant Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in animal nutrition, animal health, technical services, research, consulting, or related industries.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct leadership experience, including coaching and developing technical professionals.
• Strong understanding of dairy and/or beef production systems.
• Proven ability to partner with commercial teams to deliver customer value.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Technical Service Specialists and subject matter experts.
• Develop and execute the North American technical service strategy for ruminant solutions.
• Partner with Sales, Key Account Managers, Marketing, Regulatory, Product Management, and Innovation teams to accelerate growth and customer success.
• Provide executive-level technical support for strategic customer opportunities and complex technical challenges.
• Engage directly with producers, nutritionists, veterinarians, consultants, and industry influencers across North America.
• Oversee technical trials, field validation programs, and research collaborations.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving customer needs.
• Represent Novonesis at industry conferences, customer events, and professional associations.
