Job summary

Kiva is a global nonprofit focused on expanding financial access. The Manager, Strategic Partnerships grows philanthropic support by cultivating donors and advising partners, working across Finance, Marketing, Product, and Engineering to strengthen relationships and improve the donor experience.

You will coordinate proposals and reporting, plan events, and partner with teams to deliver compelling donor communications and impact stories. This is a work-from-home role in the United States.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in nonprofit fundraising, strategic partnerships, or a related field.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex programs and impact data into compelling proposals, reports, and donor communications.
• Experience collaborating across functions and managing multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholder relationships independently.
• Comfort using a CRM such as Salesforce and digital engagement data to track activity, run reports, evaluate results, and refine strategies.
• A commitment to Kiva’s mission and values, including financial inclusion, equity, and respect for the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

• Grow donor relationships by cultivating individual donors and major-tier prospects with support from the team.
• Develop proposals, reports, newsletters, and other donor communications across functions.
• Plan and deliver in-person and virtual donor events to deepen engagement and generate qualified prospects.
• Maintain accurate donor records and track relationship activity, prospect pipelines, and progress toward fundraising goals.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to coordinate donor messaging across Strategic Partnerships audiences and channels.
