3M is seeking a Manager, Emerging Defense & Sustainment Sales to lead relationships with defense prime contractors and drive strategic opportunities from a remote US location. You will engage executives, shape plans, and pursue mutual wins across complex end-user accounts.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in defense sales, with space/military market experience, and a valid driver’s license. Travel up to 50% and relocation may be considered to support critical programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
• Seven (7) years of experience selling and managing relationships with large and complex end user accounts in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Experience in space, military or aerospace markets.
• Current, valid Driver’s License.
• Advanced degree in business or technical from an accredited institution.
• Ten (10) years’ experience with strategic key account management.
• Experience in representing technical products and materials; working with DoD; negotiating and managing agreements.

Responsabilités

• Leads and coordinates engagement with emerging defense prime contractors.
• Develop relationships at all levels of a key account, including executive and C-Suite.
• Identifies, influences and leads mutual beneficial projects with emerging defense related opportunities.
• Determines competitive share opportunities and creates plan to win share.
• Develop and execute plans to deliver the strategic and operational plans for the accounts.
• Willingness to be available for key account support.
