Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking an Application Engineer specializing in Aerospace & Defense to support defense programs with 3M technologies. The role involves building technical relationships with defense primes, government labs, and military agencies to translate mission needs into robust product requirements.

You will lead specifications, qualification, and adoption while collaborating with internal teams to accelerate product commercialization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.
• 5+ years in application engineering, product development, or translating customer needs into technical performance in defense or aerospace.
• Knowledge of defense materials, technologies, and industry specifications.
• Experience supporting flight hardware, defense assets, or avionics preferred.
• Advanced degrees or extensive industry experience (up to 10 years) and familiarity with defense material selection, qualification, and verification processes.
