enGen is seeking a Mainframe Systems Support professional to ensure a highly available mainframe environment. You will install, monitor, and optimize CICS/MQ across test and production LPARs, while supporting z/OS, JES2, JCL, and IBM utilities.

The role emphasizes disaster recovery readiness, automation scripting, and performance-based improvements in a large scale IBM zEnterprise setup. Remote-based position with on-call rotation may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with mainframe environments and CICS/MQ.
• Knowledge of z/OS, JES2, JCL, ISPF/SDSF and SMP/E.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and manage CICS/MQ in test and production LPARs.
• Monitor the health and troubleshoot mainframe components to root cause.
• Support z/OS, USS, JES2, JCL, and IBM utilities.
• Maintain sysplexed CICS/MQ environment and disaster recovery.
• Develop automation scripts and use performance metrics.
