Job summary

532 Group is seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer to lead maintenance and enhancements of legacy systems in a structured SAFe environment. You will work on COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and CICS components, mentor teammates, and deliver solutions for critical government claims processing operations. Remote position require U.S.

citizenship or GC, recent mainframe development, and eligibility for Public Trust clearance. Strong communication skills and experience with Eclipse IDz/RDz are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have COBOL, JCL, VSAM and CICS.
• Experience with Eclipse IDz/RDz.
• Insurance or healthcare claims processing experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 9+ years mainframe experience.
• Public Trust clearance required.
• Strong communication and technical writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, coding, unit testing and debugging of health claims processing system.
• Be a key contributor on a persistent development team.
• Design, develop and implement complex components in a legacy mainframe environment.
• Mentor team members and resolve defects.
• Lead standards, guidelines, and best practices.
