Job summary

532 Group, LLC is seeking a seasoned Mainframe Developer to sustain and modernize health claims processing systems. The role is remote for U.S. residents only, with a required three-year US residency in the past five years and U.S. Citizenship or Green Card. A background investigation is required for Public Trust clearance.

You will design, code, test, and debug within a legacy mainframe environment, collaborating with a persistent development team to deliver stable solutions across programs.

Qualifications

• Recent 4–5+ years as a Mainframe Developer.
• Proficiency with COBOL, JCL, CICS, TSO and VSAM.
• Ability to perform in a rigorous, structured development environment.
• Strong communication and technical writing abilities.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, unit test, and debug enhancements to the health claims processing system.
• Support maintenance and operations as a key development team member.
• Develop complex components within a legacy mainframe environment.
• Resolve defects and implement change requests to ensure operational stability.
• Participate in design activities for maintenance solutions.
• Prepare, execute unit tests, and present results to clients.
