Capgemini is seeking an experienced mainframe engineer to translate division initiatives into scalable software on a Z/OS mainframe. You will lead an interactive team, develop and test complex stock plan services applications, and provide on-site support within an Agile environment.

The role requires deep expertise in COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, MQ-Series, SQL, and related tools, with a focus on performance tuning and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Requires extensive mainframe development experience and leadership of interactive teams.
• Expertise in mainframe performance tuning and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

• Perform as a mainframe engineer within an Agile team, including requirements gathering, development, and end-to-end testing.
• Define and lead architecture with emphasis on scalability and standards conformance.
• Provide on-site/on-call support and act as SME on cross-functional crisis management.
