Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Mainframe Systems Programmer to provide premium support for CICS TS and WAS in a remote US setting. You will install, test, and maintain z/OS system software, monitor performance, and help with migrations and DR planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on mainframe experience with zSeries, CICS TS, WAS and OEM product support.
• Thorough knowledge of CICS TS concepts, configuration and tailoring and related OEM products.
• Experience with IBM SMP/E and monitoring tools for CICS TS regions.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill CSOs for mainframe z/OS customers related to CICS TS and OEM software.
• Provide primary support for issues in CICS TS / WAS and related products.
• Offer 24x7x365 support across multiple time zones.
• Install, test, and upgrade OEM software products per Ensono standards.
• Assist migrations of new customers and coordinate with project managers.
• Support disaster recovery planning and testing with DR services.
• Adhere to ITSM change control procedures and timelines.
