Job summary

SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Technical Team Lead for a remote opportunity. You will lead and coordinate a team of technical professionals responsible for supporting critical mainframe and enterprise technology operations.

The role blends technical oversight, workload coordination, issue resolution, and resource planning in a fast-moving environment where responsive support may be required around the clock.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Bachelor's degree or 4 years relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of information systems experience.
• Experience with IBM z/OS, CICS, VSAM, and SMP/E; COBOL/JCL/REXX/Assembler.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical specialists across assigned work requests.
• Review approved requests and assign work based on availability.
• Track progress and address performance or resource issues affecting delivery.
• Coordinate resources and facilitate communication with stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot escalated issues and maintain operational continuity.
• Support continuous improvement and modernization efforts.
