Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Mainframe CICS Systems Programmer/Engineer in the US. The role covers the full lifecycle of CICS systems, performance tuning, and on-call support in a large scale CICSPlex environment.

You will collaborate with application developers and operations teams, leveraging Cobol and zOS knowledge to maintain a secure, reliable mainframe platform across multiple locations. Remote work options available.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of SMP/E, software upgrades and maintenance.
• Experience with CICSPlex SM implementation & dynamic routing.
• Experience with CICS performance tuning and dump analysis.
• Knowledge of Cobol to support application developers.
• Experience with IBM z platforms and Websphere MQ.

Responsibilities

• Maintain CICS environments in a 24x7 CICSPlex.
• Interface with application developers and operations teams.
• Perform problem determination and performance tuning.
• Provide on-call support outside of normal working hours.
