Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a skilled CICS Systems Programmer/Engineer to support a large-scale CICSPlex environment. You’ll work with Cobol developers, perform tuning, and handle 24x7 operations while interfacing with application teams. Strong analytical and communication skills are required.

The role involves on-call responsibilities, trouble-shooting, and collaborating across EZ and IT teams to maintain a robust z/OS mainframe platform. Remote/hybrid options may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience with CICS in a 24x7 large scale CICSPlex environment.
• Knowledge of Cobol to support application developers.
• Experience with CICS performance & tuning, dump analysis and problem determination.

Responsibilities

• Interface with application developers and operations teams.
• On-call support and maintenance outside normal hours.
• Analyze dumps and tune CICS regions in CICSPlex environments.
• Provide performance data using CICS tools to optimize regions.
