Job summary

ALLTECH CONSULTING SVC INC is looking for a Mainframe CICS Engineer to handle all aspects of CICS engineering and maintenance in a large-scale, secure environment. This position demands expertise in performance tuning, debugging, and working with CICS systems around the clock.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills along with in-depth knowledge of CICS and Cobol. This role includes on-call support and requires familiarity with various monitoring tools and technologies associated with the CICS environment.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working in a 24x7 large-scale Sysplex and CICSPlex environment.
• Ability to interface with application developers and operations teams.
• On-call support required outside of normal working hours.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all phases of CICS engineering and software maintenance.
• Perform problem determination, dump analysis, and performance tuning.
• Support application developers with knowledge of Cobol.
