Job summary

SunSource is seeking an experienced M&A Manager – Industrial Distribution to drive growth through acquisition strategy. The role collaborates across Sales, Marketing, Legal, HR, Finance and other functions to identify targets, manage due diligence, negotiate deals and guide integration at a high level.

The candidate should bring 10+ years in Industrial Distribution (Fluid Process/related markets), 3–5 years buy-side experience and a strong M&A mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or sales is preferred.
• 3–5 years of buy-side experience in identifying target companies and initiating buy/sell process in Mergers and Acquisitions.
• 10+ years of experience within Industrial Distribution, with demonstrated experience in Fluid Process or related industrial technology markets.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet research.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to travel minimum of 50% of the time; role can be remote but near a major airport.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire transaction process including relationship development, deal negotiation and coordination and management of due diligence and integration activities.
• Lead or participate in post-acquisition performance management and integration planning with cross-functional teams.
• Develop business cases and integration action plans; present recommendations to senior leadership and Board.
