Job summary

SunSource seeks an experienced M&A Manager to drive the acquisition strategy across Fluid Power, Fluid Process, and Automation segments. You will lead cross-functional teams through target evaluation, due diligence, and integration planning, delivering value through structured transactions and post-close performance reviews.

The role requires 10+ years in industrial distribution, 3–5 years buy-side M&A, and travel up to 50%. Remote work with proximity to a major airport is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or sales preferred.
• 3-5 years buy-side experience in identifying target companies and initiating buy/sell process in Mergers and Acquisitions.
• 10+ years of experience within Industrial Distribution, with demonstrated experience in Fluid Process or related markets.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools and strong internet research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to travel minimum of 50% of the time; role can be remote but near a major airport.

• Develop and execute SunSource's acquisition strategy across cross-functional teams.
• Lead or participate in due diligence and integration planning on tight timelines.
• Coordinate deal negotiations, relationship development, and post-acquisition performance reviews.
• Document best practices and create value-creating structuring options.
