Job summary

SunSource is seeking an M&A Business Development Market Manager to drive the company’s acquisition strategy from target identification through integration. The role collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Legal, HR, Finance, and others to execute deals and realize value across the portfolio.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of buy-side M&A experience and 10+ years in Industrial Distribution with Fluids/Process tech exposure, plus strong financial acumen and proven communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or sales preferred.
• 3–5 years of buy-side M&A experience required.
• 10+ years in Industrial Distribution with Fluid Process exposure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel 50%+ of the time; role can be remote near a major airport.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage SunSource’s M&A acquisition strategy and pipeline.
• Identify and evaluate acquisition targets for strategic fit and value creation.
• Lead due diligence and integration planning with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare executive materials and present recommendations to SunSource's leadership and Board.
