Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Integration Manager – M&A to plan, coordinate, and execute merger and acquisition integration projects across the organization. The role acts as a liaison between executive leadership, cross‑functional teams, acquired entities, and external partners to ensure timely, within‑budget integration.

Ideal candidates have a business degree, 8–10+ years in project management and P&C insurance, and experience leading M&A integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required; MBA preferred.
• 8–10+ years of project management and P&C insurance experience
• Experience leading M&A integrations, organizational transformations, or large-scale enterprise initiatives preferred
• PMP certification preferred; strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Define project objectives, integration roadmaps, timelines, success measures, and governance structures that support organizational goals.
• Lead merger and acquisition integration initiatives, coordinating cross-functional workstreams to support successful business transitions.
• Oversee large-scale transformation projects, ensuring alignment of processes, systems, teams, and operational objectives.
• Manage internal resources, third-party vendors, and project stakeholders to ensure appropriate allocation of support and capabilities.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, monitor progress, and ensure milestones are achieved within established timelines and budgets.
• Manage project changes, scope adjustments, and implementation activities while maintaining stakeholder alignment and project integrity.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues that may affect integration or transformation success.
• Develop communication plans and provide regular updates to leadership regarding project status, risks, decisions, and outcomes.
