Job summary

AMSURG is a national leader in ambulatory surgery center services, delivering strategic and financial analysis to the Mergers & Acquisitions team. This Associate role supports Directors and Managers on deal assessment, due diligence, and proforma modeling for centers and practices.

Working remotely, you will interact with multiple departments, prepare materials for meetings and due diligence sessions, and help identify value drivers to support growth and operational results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
• 2+ years of transaction-oriented analytical experience in healthcare-focused valuation, corporate development, or investment banking.
• Direct experience with Ambulatory Surgery Centers preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic growth initiatives across due diligence, assessment, and closing.
• Conduct financial modeling, valuation, NPV, and DCF analyses of targets.
• Prepare materials for meetings and due diligence sessions.
• Identify value drivers and risk/opportunities using internal and external data.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to support the group’s initiatives.
