Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a remote Business Development / Outside Sales professional who must reside within 50 miles of a FedEx Freight location in Tucson, AZ. The role focuses on new business, account implementation, and maintaining customer relationships within a defined territory.

You will conduct presentations, develop proposals, and close deals while leveraging Salesforce and MS Office. Travel may be required, and the candidate should be adept at navigating the competitive LTL landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years B2B sales experience.
• Ability to travel overnight as required.
• Strong initiative, organizational skills, adaptability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Direct sales efforts within a terminal operations locality.
• Promote and direct sales activities, ensuring alignment with district goals.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research and outreach.
• Maintain and grow existing accounts by understanding customer supply chains.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver outstanding service.
• Conduct sales presentations, develop proposals, and close deals. Utilize CRM tools and Microsoft Office to manage sales activities.
• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned
