Actalent is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician for a closed‑door long‑term care pharmacy. You will handle pharmacy technician tasks, customer service, and order entry under supervision to deliver high-quality patient care while supporting daily workflow across the pharmacy.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, timely processing of electronic and faxed prescriptions, and collaboration with billing. Indianapolis, IN-based, contract‑to‑hire with remote work options may be available.

Qualifications

• Indiana Pharmacy Technician License required.
• 3+ years experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Proficiency with FrameworkLTC.
• Strong customer service and problem solving.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Fill orders by communicating with nursing facilities, prescribers, and insurers.
• Review orders for completeness before entry.
• Process pending orders and quantify order shorts or refills.
• Collaborate with Billing to resolve pending claims.
• Research missing deliveries and incorrect prescriptions and resolve issues.
• Enter patient profile information and process electronic or faxed orders.
• Calculate order quantities and perform data entry for orders and readmissions.
• Ensure orders meet cutoff times and are delivered on schedule.
• Assist with inventory and periodic counts.
• Promote clear communication with internal and external customers.
