M Chest Pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician for a remote role serving Texas residents. The position emphasizes fast-paced, high-volume order entry and accurate prescription processing, with supervision as needed.

The successful candidate will triage orders, handle refills, process insurance claims, and coordinate communications across multiple teams while maintaining HIPAA compliance and high accuracy.

Qualifications

• Active Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration in good standing.
• 1 year of high-volume order entry experience.
• Experience in Long Term Care pharmacy preferred.
• Working knowledge of a PC and ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming Rx orders.
• Enter Rx orders accurately per workflow and cut-off times.
• Process refills as requested.
• Process 3rd party claims adjudication (insurance rejections).
• Coordinate pharmacy inquiries and resolve customer issues.
• Outreach to Retail Pharmacies and delivery services to coordinate filling of medications.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Support pharmacists and other technicians to ensure timely processing.
