Job summary

Genworth is seeking a Long Term Care Actuary, Controllership Oversight, to govern LTC models and processes. The role focuses on controls, data, and adherence to actuarial standards within valuation, projections, and experience analyses.

Becoming a trusted advisor, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and support model governance through peer reviews and documentation. This role emphasizes leadership and accountability in a complex LTC environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of actuarial experience, preferably with LTC insurance.
• BS/BA in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, business/finance, or related.
• FSA or ASA designation or commensurate experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee LTC control environment and ensure design consistency across teams.
• Consult on controls for new or enhanced processes.
• Review existing controls and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations and IT on administration system issues and controls.
• Develop clear model/process documentation to increase transparency.
