Job summary

Genworth, together with CareScout, strives to simplify and dignify aging. The Long Term Care Actuarial Model Governance and Controllership role focuses on governing LTC models, data, and processes, ensuring controls meet standards and support transparent reporting.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, guide the valuation and projections, and help expand governance to emerging products, while maintaining rigorous actuarial practice and compliance.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in a quantitative field; actuarial science or business/finance preferred.
• Professional actuarial designation (FSA) or ASA with relevant experience required.
• 5+ years actuarial experience, ideally in LTC.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee LTC control environment and ensure design effectiveness across teams.
• Consult on controls for new or enhanced processes and review high‑risk controls.
• Collaborate with Operations and IT on system/data issues and controls.
• Support model governance reviews and documentation to increase transparency.
• Expand governance to include new teams and products; advise on model changes.
