Job summary

Genworth is seeking a Long Term Care Actuary, Controllership Oversight, to govern LTC models, data flows, and controls. The role centers on valuation, inforce rate actions, and expanding to projections and analytics across teams.

You will review existing controls, collaborate with Operations and IT on data issues, and provide governance peer reviews for LTC models and processes. A BS/BA in math, stats, actuarial science or related field and an FSA or ASA are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, business/finance, or related major.
• FSA or ASA designation.
• 5+ years of relevant actuarial experience, preferably with LTC insurance.
• Ability to meet project deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of valuation, projections, and experience in actuarial processes.

Responsibilities

• Review existing controls for key high-risk processes and make improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate with Operations and IT on administration system and data issues and controls.
• Provide governance peer review support for the development and enhancement of LTC actuarial models and processes.
