Job summary

Genworth is seeking a Long Term Care Actuary to join the Controllership Oversight team, focusing on governance of LTC models, data, and controls. You will support valuation, projections, and experience analysis, working with cross-functional partners in Operations and IT.

The role requires a BS/BA in math or actuarial field and a Fellow/ASA with actuarial experience, with ~5+ years in actuarial work, preferably LTC. This remote US position covers Eastern/Central Time zones.

Qualifications

• BS/BA Degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, business/finance, and/or related major.
• Fellow of Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation or Associate (ASA) with commensurate experience.

Responsibilities

• Review existing controls for key high-risk processes and make improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate with Operations and IT on administration system and data issues and controls.
• Provide governance peer review support for the development and enhancement of LTC actuarial models and processes.
