Job summary

Genworth is seeking a Long Term Care Actuary to join the Controllership Governance team in a role focused on governance and controls for LTC models and processes. You will become the expert on LTC model data and processes, guiding the design of controls to ensure compliance with standards and company policy.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support model peer reviews, and help expand governance to new teams and products while maintaining strong communication and project

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, business/finance, or related major.
• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation or ASA with commensurate experience.
• 5+ years of relevant actuarial experience, preferably LTC insurance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the LTC control environment across teams.
• Consult on controls for new or enhanced processes.
• Review existing controls for high-risk processes and improve them.
• Collaborate with Operations and IT on system and data issues.
• Develop model governance documentation for transparency.
• Provide governance peer review support for LTC models and processes.
• Expand governance to include emerging teams and products.
• Assist with model change peer reviews and governance guidance.
