Balance Mind Mental Healthcare is seeking a licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for a fully remote, full-time position serving clients in Texas. You will conduct assessments, develop personalized therapy plans, and apply evidence-based approaches across diverse populations.

The role includes CBT, DBT, psychodynamic and solution-focused therapies, with emphasis on ethical practice, meticulous EMR documentation, and ongoing professional development within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, particularly within a clinical setting.
• A strong grasp of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with diverse clients.
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and familiarity with telehealth technologies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to develop personalized therapy plans tailored to their unique needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic strategies, including CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions for families, couples, and individuals.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, training, and staying informed on the latest mental health research.
