Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Loss Mitigation Escalation and Research Specialist to work remotely in the United States. The role coordinates across Advocacy, Customer Research, Collections, Escrow, Mediation, and Foreclosure to prepare timely responses to complaints and inquiries, including CFPB and BBB filings, with a target pay range of $28.50–$30.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years' of combined experience in loss mitigation or mortgage servicing.
• Strong working knowledge of Loss Mitigation processes and investor programs.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Ability to interact with mid-level, senior & executive management.

Responsibilities

• Track requests to meet regulatory response timelines and provide trends to Loss Mitigation Management.
• Research and respond to inquiries to meet timelines.
• Provide detailed responses with root cause analysis and imaging documentation.
• Collaborate with Managers to recommend resolution courses of action.
• Work with other departments to address loan level issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Create and maintain a database to track issues and provide monthly updates to Management.
