Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services, LLC is seeking a Loss Mitigation Escalation and Research Specialist to work remotely in the United States. You will serve as the point of contact across multiple departments to prepare timely responses to complaints, escalations, and inquiries, including those from CFPB, investors, and regulators.

The approved target pay range is $28.50 to $30.00. You will track requests, perform root cause analysis, and partner with management to drive remediation and process

Qualifications

• Four or more years of combined experience in loss mitigation or mortgage servicing.
• Strong working knowledge of Loss Mitigation process and investor programs.
• Excellent Fiserv knowledge and ability to research in both system and imaging.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Track requests to meet regulatory response timelines and provide trend information to Loss Mitigation Management.
• Research and respond to inquiries to meet regulatory timelines.
• Provide detailed responses with root cause analysis and imaging documentation.
• Collaborate with Managers to recommend resolution courses of action.
• Coordinate with other departments to address loan level issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Create and maintain a database to track issues and report monthly trends.
