Job summary

Regional Reporting, Inc. (RRI) is seeking an Insurance Loss Control Consultant to perform commercial insurance inspections and complete underwriting reports. The role requires field visits, photo documentation, and observation of facilities to identify exposures for underwriting decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with Loss Control providers or major insurers.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance lines: Property, General Liability, Inland Marine.
• Identify building construction and ISO classes.
• Broad understanding of NFPA codes.
• Strong written communication and time management.
• Ability to work from home with PC and internet connection.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to climb a ladder up to 6 feet.
• Digital camera or smartphone photo capability.
• Measuring wheel or similar tool with a camera pole.

Responsibilities

• Record onsite observations and photos per carrier requirements.
• Identify building construction type, square footage, and hazards.
• Complete assignments and reports by due dates.
• Communicate regularly with Field Manager to complete inspections efficiently.
• Coordinate inspection schedule with insured onsite.
• Prepare and report inspection results, upload photos, and diagrams.
• Travel to insured locations; overnight travel may be required.
