Job summary

Regional Reporting, Inc. (RRI) is seeking an experienced Insurance Loss Control Consultant to perform commercial insurance loss control inspections and complete underwriting reports for a nationwide coverage area.

The role requires field travel to client locations, on-site observations, measurements, and documentation of inspection results. Candidates should have strong writing and communication skills, plus a valid driver’s license and the ability to work from home with a PC and internet.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with Loss Control providers or major insurers.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance lines: Property, General Liability, Inland Marine.
• Ability to identify building construction types and ISO classes.
• Broad understanding of NFPA codes.
• Strong written and communication skills.
• Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work from home with a PC and internet.
• Capability to climb a ladder up to 6 feet.
• Experience capturing photos and measurements onsite.

Responsibilities

• Record onsite observations, measurements, and photos per carrier requirements.
• Identify building and roof construction, size, hazards.
• Complete assignments on time and report results.
• Communicate with Field Manager to complete inspections cost-effectively.
• Coordinate inspection times with insured onsite.
• Upload photos and diagrams to reports.
• Travel to insured locations, including potential overnight travel.
