Job summary

Regional Reporting, Inc. (RRI) is seeking an experienced Insurance Loss Control Consultant to perform commercial insurance inspections across our coverage territory and to compile underwriting reports.

Candidates should have at least 2 years in loss control with knowledge of Property, General Liability and Inland Marine, NFPA codes, and strong writing and communication skills. Remote work from home with a valid license; some overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in loss control with service providers or major insurers.
• Comprehensive understanding of commercial insurance lines—Property, General Liability, Inland Marine.
• Ability to identify building construction and ISO classes.
• Broad understanding of NFPA codes.
• Strong writing and organizational skills.
• Ability to work from home with a PC, high-speed internet, and a cell phone.

Responsibilities

• Record onsite observations, measurements and photos per carrier requirements.
• Identify construction type, square footage and potential hazards.
• Complete assignments and reports by due dates.
• Communicate with Field Manager to optimize inspections.
• Coordinate inspection times with insured representatives on site.
• Upload photos and prepare diagrams for underwriting reports.
